Dr. Stefan J. Kirchanski focuses on patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings as well as patent litigation support. He has particular subject matter expertise relating to life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronics, robotics, communications, software, e-commerce and plants.
Prior to joining Zuber Lawler, Dr. Kirchanski was a partner at Venable LLP. Before entering law school, he was a research and development scientist for Ortho Diagnostic Systems (Johnson & Johnson) and BD Immuno-cytometry Systems (Becton Dickinson). Prior to working in industry he was a research fellow at Harvard University, and an assistant professor at The University of Texas at Austin.
